Roberto started to sail when he was 6 years old, and he hasn't stopped since. He has taken part in nearly every race in the Mediterranean, as part of a full team, a reduced team, double handed and solo.

His passion in life has given him a good career and being both as a sailor and sailmaker has meant he has a 360 degree preparation for his projects, so many of which have been very ambitious, such as solo atlantic crossings and long and difficult passages. In the sail loft, he primarily designs and cuts.
